In 1973 (1352 of Persian calendar), I was born in the village of "Ghadikola" part of the "Ghaemshahr" city in the "Mazandaran" province, located in the northern part of "Iran", below "Caspian" sea.

I have done my school in Ghameshahr and got the high school diploma in the filed of Natural Science (Mathematics and Physics) in 1991 (1370 of Persian calendar). In the same year, I have started my Bachelor of Science (BSc) at the Yazd University in the field of Physics. I have then started my Master of science (MSc) in 1998 (1377) in the filed of Physics and Solar Physics at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), which now named as the University of Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan. In this time I got to know Azam Gholami and we got married at the end of my MSc in 2000. We have now two very sweet children, one a 7.5 years old girl with the name of "Hasti". Hasti is a Persian name and has a very global meaning as of existence of everything. In Persian it is also has the meaning of Universe and life. The youngest one is a 2 year old boy with the name of "Amir Mahdi". Amir is an Arabic name meaning, King or Commander.

During my MSc, I had the chance to be a scientific and executive member of the site selection committee for Iranian National Observatory (INO). Unfrotunately I had to quit form that because of starting my PhD study in India in January 2002.

After one year of doing my PhD in Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) (Bangalore, India) in the field of Solar Physics under supervision of Professor Jagdev Singh, we have left there in January 2003 and joined a new PhD program in Germany. I did my PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) in Potsdam. For my PhD, I have been supervised by Professor Bernard Schutz (as my official supervisor) as well as by Dr. Curt Cutler and Dr. Maria Alessandra Papa on the "data analysis of continuous gravitational waves". I have finished my PhD thesis in November 2007 and defended on it in April 2008. My work was mostly computational in analyzing the gravitational waves' data in the frequency domain search.

From January 2008 I have started my first post-doctoral fellowship in the filed of Biophysics in Hahn Meitner Institute (HMI), which named now as "Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin fuer Materialien und Energie". I have worked with PD. Dr. Martin Falcke who have later moved to Max Delbrueck Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) Berlin. The work I was involved was to improve the previous written code in simulating the calcium release from the membrane of any typical cell.

For my second post-doctoral position, since January 2009, I am working with Professor Annette Zippelius at the Theoretical Physics department of Goettingen University. The work I am involved is to bring the new idea on the simulation of Granular Media and develope the currect computer codes and simulations.

One of my hoppies is to write something about what I have in my mind about the philosophy of life and human. I am writing that in my personal weblog which was given the name of "Noore Mahtab", meaning the light of Moon. I am sorry for non-Persian people, since the weblog is written in Persian.
